The UAE has been in on-off talks for 60 fighters, specifically France’s Dassault Aviation for Rafales and Britain’s BAE Systems for Eurofighter Typhoons. “Boeing’s industry and community partnerships across the Middle East demonstrate our commitment to strengthening our presence in the region”, said Bernard Dunn, president, Boeing Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.
In a first for any worldwide show, according to organizers, UAVs – more commonly known as drones – will be taking part in the flying display.
Anticipated to be popular with aviation enthusiasts visiting the Dubai Airshow, Emirates’ two class configured A380 will feature 58 flatbed seats in Business Class and 557 spacious seats in Economy Class, as well as Emirates’ celebrated OnBoard Lounge.
