Lady Gaga announces Dive Bar Tour
LOS ANGELES Lady Gaga is choosing the intimacy of dive bars over arenas to showcase songs from her new album, “Joanne”. The song will be part of her new album titled “Joanne”, which is named after her late aunt.
Lady Gaga entered a new era of her career with her rock-leaning single “Perfect Illusion”, but she revealed that her new album Joanne will be influenced by a wide variety of genres.
“What I really want to do is, I want to bring people together that wouldn’t normally talk to each other, or hang out, or maybe like each other, or understand each other”. She will begin the small road trip this Wednesday at undisclosed location. Two other dive bar tours in undisclosed locations are set for October 20 and 27 and will also be live-streamed on Facebook.
The audiences will be made up of contest winners. The 21-track album features collaborations and songwriting credits from the likes of Andre 3000, Kelly Rowland, Q-Tip and Questlove while fan-favourite singles so far include Dont Touch My Hair and Cranes In The Sky.
And the 30-year-old artist says that her song Perfect Illusion clearly reflects the way she felt during their long-term relationship.
“Nothing was choreographed”, she told E! The singer is no stranger to performing in such venues, and is excited about getting up close and personal once again with her fans now she’s such a huge star.
In their routine, which is very athletic and cardio heavy, they incorporate ballet, modern dance, and jazz, and it can get very technical.
