This year’s Golden Globe was dominated by two major films starring two major Hollywood A-listers.

Jon Hamm and Leonardo DiCaprio may have won big at the Golden Globes this year, but ratings for the award show were down.

“The Revenant” took home the top three awards of the night, including Best Director, Best Drama Motion Picture and Best Actor in a Drama award for Leonardo Di Caprio.

That link also holds true for the Globes’ Best Actress (drama) category.

The cheeky actor could be seen giggling as the Poker Face singer was announced as Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV movie for her depiction of The Countess in American Horror Story: Hotel.

Adam McKays star-studded financial collapse comedy “The Big Short” also walked away empty handed, despite some rising awards momentum lately with recent Producers Guild and Writers Guild nominations.

So what does that mean for Oscar night, which is on February 28?

During his opening monologue, he warned the celebrities in the Beverly Hilton Hotel that he would disappear after delivering his barbs.

Viewer’s of lat night’s Golden Globes ceremony were treated to another Ricky Gervais led experience.
