Lady Gaga marks Tony Bennett’s 89th birthday with ‘towering’ cake

Earlier, Gaga sang Duke Ellington’s “I’m Beginning To See The Light” to a beaming Bennett as the audience cheered.

Edible versions of Gaga and Bennett were included on the cake and the singer’s pets topped it as Gaga shared a close up of the masterpiece on her Instagram. The cake was created by Charm City Cake’s Duff Goldman. She also posted a snapshot of the elaborate birthday cake she got the singer. The two supported their joint effort by embarking on a tour, which concluded with two concerts at the Kennedy Center last weekend. Hope we can tour again.

Although Gaga’s tour is over, it doesn’t mean that she will be stopping anytime soon. Gaga has already given her social media followers a small look into her part in the series, posting her script that was covered in blood. After playing the last show in Washington, D.C., the Mother Monster took to Instagram on Monday, August 3 to tease her next album.
