Lady Gaga shares Instagram snap of her and Barbra Streisand

Murphy and two of his new stars-A.H.S.’s Lady Gaga and A.C.S.’s John Travolta-joined Barbra Streisand, her husband, James Brolin, and Travolta’s wife, Kelly Preston, for an evening of Hollywood glamor that spans generations.

Gaga shared a photo of her hugging Streisand, too, with the caption, “Barbra and me. what a completely unbelievable woman”.

“Last night I had a dream that the HOTEL cast went to Gaga’s house and at midnight swam in her pool that she dyed blood red just for us”, Murphy tweeted August. 16.

Gaga posted a photo on Instagram Saturday night, captioning it “Saturday Night Fever with some wonderful new friends”.

Lady Gaga isn’t new to meeting great musical icons, though.

Earlier this year, Gaga paid homage to another legendary singer, Julie Andrews, with her “Sound of Music” medley at the Oscars.

Who knows why this group of famous friends came together. Barbra Streisand hosted a gathering at her home on Saturday, August 22, and just like Us, she took to Instagram to document the very special occasion.

This is purely speculation, but we’re crossing our fingers and toes that Murphy used this dinner to convince Streisand to check into American Horror Story: Hotel as a guest on the sexy new season! Let’s all hope that Barbra and Lady Gaga are doing some sort of fantastic duet album together that is both lovely and awesome and can be turned into a musical television show also featuring John Travolta.
