Lady Gaga sings national anthem at Super Bowl 50
And while the Denver Broncos are now leading against the Carolina Panthers (albeit slightly) we’re still focusing on Lady Gaga’s National Anthem performance.
And she absolutely crushed it, freelancing throughout a sparkling version of The Star Spangled Banner.

Lady Gaga’s Hollywood peers have come out in droves to congratulate the star on her spectacular performance at Super Bowl 50 on Sunday.
At Super Bowl 50, Lady Gaga performed the National Anthem, and that became a part of American History.
But the biggest question involving her performance was: “Did she hit the over or the under?”
She posted on her account: “Love you so much, @ladygaga”. It takes incredible range to be able to sing the national anthem correctly, but Lady Gaga took that high note even higher, with a an fantastic little flourish that thrilled virtually everyone who watched Super Bowl 50. Her performance, which gained split reviews, was recently praised at the Oscars Nominees Luncheon that prompted the singer to be in tears, E News reports.
Lady Gaga, accompanied by her mother, enjoyed the Super Bowl to the fullest.
Talk about nostalgic, seeing all of those great Super Bowl MVP’s introduced, walking out of the tunnel, several of them limping, it really took me back It is a rare gathering of pro football royalty.
A third, for some reason, chose to add in a Grease reference, saying: “Lady Gaga’s Star-Spangled Banner gave me chills and they’re multiplying!”
The singer channeled her inner patriot in a glittering red pantsuit and eye shadow, striped platforms and blue nails for the occasion.
Though Gaga’s fiancé Taylor Kinney was not at the big game, he was rooting her on from home.
