Lady Gaga Walks the Runway in Marc Jacobs New York Fashion Week
It was the last of the shows at Fashion Week’s Stateside previews, and Kendall Jenner turned out in her stars and stripes.
Gaga appeared on the runway wearing an oversized black coat adorned with massive fur sleeves and sky-high platform boots.
The show is set to begin at 6 P.M. and we’re sure it will be a moment to remember.
Lady Gaga surprised the fashion world on Thursday night when she walked in Marc Jacobs’ fashion show amongst models including Kendall Jenner. Of course this was not Gaga’s first time walking in a fashion show, previously she has graced the catwalk for Thierry Mugler and Philip Treacy. She completed the look with heavy eye make-up and platinum, 1920s-inspired hair.
Among the front-row guests was Vogue editor Anna Wintour, who wore a Jacobs-designed Hillary Clinton 2016 T-shirt.
His evening wear had its roots in a Victorian-era elegance, with frothy high-lace collars and black velvet, and a Prussian pigment printed coat that looked like a Romantic-era smoking jacket.
A black velvet cocktail dress was made similarly exquisite-embellished with tightly pleated black leather ruffle sleeves and a collar that defied gravity and made the outfit look like sculpture.
“Black is the new black”, he said in an interview with PEOPLE. The models wore sensible loafer shoes.
Gaga wore a custom electric blue, double-breasted satin coat dress by Marc Jacobs, embroidered with multi-colored sequins and decorative metallic elements that appear to be clouds and feather shapes.
