Lady Gaga will sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl
The Mother Creature will convey an “Experiential” tribute to the late David Bowie who will likewise be accepting an after death Lifetime Accomplishment Recompense.
This will add to Gaga’s already impressive list of events in February.
The NFL announced Tuesday that Lady Gaga will sing the national anthem prior to kickoff of Super Bowl 50 on Sunday in Santa Clara Calif., between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers. Later this month, she’ll perform at the Grammy Awards. Will her singing soar?
The 29-year-old singer will pick up the national-anthem torch from American singer and actress Idina Menzel who performed the anthem last year. But Gaga can nail the high notes, as she showcased on her recent duets album, “Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga: Cheek to Cheek”.
While the Grammys will without a doubt be a ritzy occasion, Super Bowl 50 will likewise have its offer of well known appearances.
Now she’ll join the likes of Coldplay, Beyonce, and many others at this weekend’s Super Bowl 50 festivities. She won a Golden Globe for her role in “American Horror Story: Hotel” in January. The upcoming Academy Awards might see her with another award under her belt as she is nominated for Best Original Song for her song “Til It Happens to You” in the film “The Hunting Ground”.
