‘Lagaan’ Actor Dies of Heart Attack
His friend, Vishnu Sharma said “He passed away today (Thursday) around 3 o’clock in the afternoon”.
Rajesh Vivek has starred in many Bollywood movies like Aamir Khan Starrer Lagaan, where he played the comic astrologer role of Guranbaba.
The actor, who worked in Bollywood for over two decades, had a heart attack while he was shooting for a southern film in Hyderabad.
With the demise of actors Alan Rickman and Rajesh Vivek on January 14, the day will definitely go down as one of the saddest days for the fans.
He was seen with actors Rishi and Neetu Kapoor in the 2010 movie, Do Dooni Chaar.
A National School of Drama (NSD) graduate, he was known for his performances in films like Bandit Queen, Lagaan, Swades and Bunty Aur Babli.
Another role which will linger in our memories when we ever talk about Rajesh Vivek would be Nivaran, the village post master in 2004 movie Swades.
