Lalu attacks BJP, alleges Giriraj’s closeness to Bachha Rai

Bachcha Rai, the principal of VR College in Bihar’s Vaishali district, surrendered before the police on Saturday in connection with the cheating case that has emerged from the state’s Class 12 board exam results. The minister is family friend of Rai’s.

His son and the Deputy Chief Minister also joined in the attack on Mr Singh, Union Minister of State for MSME and MP from Nawada.

“When BJP gang do a character assignation (assassination) of others based on a random picture then it suits you guys”, tweeted Tejaswi Yadav.

The four students against whom the case has been registered are Sourabh Shrestha, Rahul Kumar, Ruby Rai and Shalini.

Her result had been clandestinely withheld and officials dealing with the intermediate examination results were waiting for the controversy to die down apparently under instructions from former BSEB Chairman Lalkeshwar Prasad Singh and scam kingpin Amit Kumar aka Baccha Rai.

Following the furore over the Bihar Board examination toppers being unable to answer basic questions related to their stream eventually leading to a re-examination, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had last week said the guilty won’t be spared, adding the investigation into this matter will be done with a criminal angle.

Arts and Science toppers, Ruby Rai and Saurabh Shrestha, respectively, belonged to this institute.

The SIT lodged an FIR against seven persons including the management of Vishun Rai College, Hajipur, Centre Superintendent of GA Inter College, Hajipur where the alleged toppers took exam and Centre Superintendent of Balak High School, Rajendra Nagar, Patna where copies were evaluated and marks allotted. While Ruby couldn’t answer what political science is about, Saurabh didn’t know what H2O stands for.

Shockingly, Saurabh failed to secure passing marks in the retest.
