Lamar Odom being weaned off life support

Earlier a source close to the situation told CNN that Odom, 35, improved a “tiny bit” during his third night at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center.

We hear he’s attempting to communicate with words but his speech is more or less limited to mumbles at this point. She did release a brief statement from the hospital room, asking the brothel owner Dennis Hof to please talk about Lamar and the Kardashian family with respect.

According to CNN, Odom said “hi” to Kardashian on Friday.

Authorities are still trying to find out what exactly happened during Odom’s three-day, $75,000 visit at the Nevada brothel.

Authorities and staff at the brothel said Odom had used cocaine before collapsing, and had taken as many as 10 tablets of an herbal sexual-enhancement supplement that can cause blood pressure to plummet. Accordingly, a source has revealed that “virtually every drug imaginable” has been found in Odom’s system – scary!

The brothel’s employees said when they found him, Odom was lying in bed on his side with a pinkish fluid coming from his mouth and nose. Odom helped the Los Angeles Lakers win two National Basketball Association championships in 2009 and 2010, and was the league’s Sixth Man of the Year in 2010-11.

His connection to the celebrity Kardashian clan widened his fame, and while she filed for divorce in 2013 the split has reportedly never been finalized. But a source told the magazine that “he’s not out of the woods yet”.

While Odom is making progress, he still has “the possibility for setbacks”.
