Lamar Odom leaves LA hospital for private facility

The magazine said Odom had been in the Cedars-Sinai Hospital for three months following his overdose at a brothel in Nye County back in October.

She further mentioned that Odom “continues to make remarkable strides and we are asking that you continue to respect our privacy”. Numerous stories circles around his estranged wife, Khloe Kardashian’s, role in his recovery.

E! News has learned that the former professional athlete was moved into a private rehabilitation facility Wednesday, where he’ll be able to continue focusing on his condition and overall health. He still has many challenges but is making progress. The move occurred in secret because Khloe didn’t want any attention.

“When asked how her ex-husband is doing, the reality star said, “[Lamar’s] doing unbelievable and I’m so proud of his strength that he has to fight this battle”. I’m just there to support and care for him.

Lamar spent four days in a coma after a near fatal overdose of opiates and cocaine as the Kardashian and Jenner families gathered at his bedside.

In addition to Khloe, Lamar’s children Lamar Jr., 13, and Destiny, 17, visited him over the holidays, flying in from NY where they live with their mother Liza Morales.

The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star talked about Odom while promoting her new show, “Kocktails with Khloe”, on Thursday, Jan. 7, at the Television Critics Association winter press tour (via ABC News).
