Lamar Odom’s Daughter, Son Release Statement, Ask for “Continued Prayers”

Kourtney and Rob Kardashian as well as Kris, Kendall and Kylie Jenner have all posted their support to Lamar online.

Khloe, who is still legally married to Lamar, is said to be suffering huge amounts of guilt over the incident, after Odom was found passed out in a brothel in Nevada. Odom was rushed to the hospital Monday, after employees at the Love Ranch brothel found him in his VIP suite and called 911. “He is on his last leg”, another source told People magazine.

“Thanks for your outpouring of prayers and support for our dad”, Lamar Jr., 13, and Destiny Odom, 17, said Thursday in a statement to CNN.

“We are saddened to hear of his condition, and are sending out thoughts and prayers out for his recovery”, the spokesperson said.

On Thursday, Khloe reportedly remained at the bedside of Odom as other members of the Kardashian family visited and left, with speculation growing that his life-threatening condition was worsening.

This means that, as the days tick by without any sign of improvement, it’s likely Khloe will have to make the heartbreaking decision whether to switch off his life support.

Authorities confirmed that Odom had used cocaine and “up to 10 tabs of sexual performance enhancements over a three-day period” before his hospitalization.

“And she said “please don’t do that, we’d rather have Khloe say what needs to be said”.

Odom’s former brother-in-law, Rob Kardashian, also expressed concern.

The Kardashian-Jenner family have also suspended filming on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and heavily-pregnant Kim, 34, has even cancelled a planned baby shower.

The New York Daily News reported that the former Lakers star was crushed when his childhood best friend, Jamie Sangouthai, died from a heroin-related infection in June.
