Lampard urges Chelsea to stick with under-fire Mourinho
Chelsea slumped to their ninth Premier League defeat of the season as they were beaten 2-1 by Leicester, with the Blues great accepting the crisis at his former club is now reaching breaking point.
Jose Mourinho’s men succumbed to goals in each half from Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez at the King Power Stadium.
The star winger is said to have grown exhausted of Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho’s Problems at Stamford Bridge, especially the way he has been handling the players and the winger has had different issues with the manager since the beginning of the season and these issues seem to be mounting instead of reducing and this has forced the hand of the Belgian global to want to make the switch. He continued, “You get the feeling it’s about to come but the longer the wait you begin to wonder and Chelsea need Hazard to play well”.
Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez will count on Chelsea’s bad results this season to bring the 24 year old midfielder to the Santiago Bernabeu. “He’s tried being strong with them, quite a lot of times earlier in the season”.
“In terms of the players, how they feel, I don’t think what he’s said tonight will affect that, I think that’s gone before”.
“I don’t know whether he’s lost them, but something has to change”.
Mourinho is Chelsea’s most successful manager of all-time and was offered a public vote of confidence by Roman Abramovich last month. Obviously, we’ve been here before with Chelsea, when managers change midway through the season. I don’t know how many times you can do that. That he has failed to get Chelsea out of the hole he has helped to put them in is clearly a blot on his copybook, but let’s not forget what this two-time Champions League winning boss has done before.
