LAPD Sends Helicopter To Incident Involving National Basketball Association Star
LA Lakers player Nick Young had a meltdown outside a Dave & Busters in Los Angeles on Saturday, September 12, and caused a scene that involved LAPD helicopters called as backup.
Naturally, TMZ somehow came into possession of a cell phone video a bystander took of the incident, which appears to show Swaggy P yelling at one of his friends, then tossing a water bottle in someone’s direction in the immediate vicinity.
The same report said this happened outside of Dave & Buster’s in Los Angeles, where an altercation happened between Young’s group and another set of individuals. “It’s everywhere we go”.
Spokesman Mike Lopez tells the site, “Upon our arrival, officers requested additional units to respond because of the large group…”
That additional response included an LAPD helicopter, which hovered overhead until tensions eased.
The angry outburst is a new look for Young, who is typically in the news either for blooper-type mistakes on the court for the Lakers, or goofy stories involving him and his fiancée Iggy Azalea, a rapper from Australia. Officers eventually asked the group to disperse and everyone complied. “Nobody was arrested, nobody was detained”, the spokesperson added.
