‘Lara Croft GO’ news: Mobile release date revealed
Today, the company announced that we can embark on Lara’s new mobile adventure beginning next week.
Rise of the Tomb Raider’s demo at Gamescom earlier this month was criticized by some for how it depicted Lara Croft as a cold, killing machine. This is more or less what we’ve come to expect from RPGs and the likes, but in the latest Rise of the Tomb Raider playthrough, it shows how you don’t have to go about killing everyone to complete a mission objective. Now Crystal Dynamics has released a new gameplay video of the same area, only this time Lara Croft is moving around the area using stealth.
Square Enix Montréal is dedicated to developing bespoke, high quality and innovative game experiences for tablet and mobile platforms. In a review by IGN, they said that the game feels pretty much like the classic “Tomb Raider” games. However, it plays differently as well as it takes influence from “Hitman GO”.
The turn based gameplay elements of “Lara Croft Go” will be very similar to the Hitman spinoff, “Hitman Go”.
Aside from “Lara Croft GO”, Square Enix has also added another Playstation classic with the addition of “Final Fantasy VII” to the library of iOS devices, Droidgamer reports.
