Last Orlando Shooting Survivor Discharged From Hospital
The 35th and final Pulse survivor was released Tuesday, according to a news release from the Orlando Regional Medical Center.
In total, Orlando Health got 44 Pulse shooting victims, including nine who died the day of the incident.
Orlando Health is a not-for-profit health care network that includes the Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Hospital officials declined to identify the patient, or offer any other details on that particular victim in accordance with the patient’s wishes.
The Pulse nightclub shooting in the early morning hours of June 12 is the deadliest mass shooting in USA history.
“Our hearts and prayers are with the Pulse nightclub victims and their families as we continue to stand in support of our community”, Orlando Health tweeted.
49 people were killed in the shooting at Pulse, one of Orlando’s most popular LGBTI venues, on Latin night.
Last month, Orlando Health and Florida Hospital both announced they will not bill the survivors for any out-of-pocket medical expenses.
