Late Kane double propels Spurs in 3-2 win over West Ham
– There were just 160 seconds between Harry Kane’s two goals for Spurs against West Ham.
It has been a bitter-sweet campaign for Tottenham Hotspur, to say the least.
The fact that they’re the only unbeaten team in the league right now would surely be another motivation for the hosts.
Kane struck twice in just 160 seconds in the dying minutes, the second goal from the penalty spot, to complete a thrilling comeback for Spurs that extends the only remaining unbeaten record in the league.
– Since the start of last season, Spurs have picked up 20 points in London derby games in league competition; the most of any side.
The Hammers’ problems in adjusting to the London Stadium have, however, surely been less significant than those on the pitch, not least their struggles in front of goal where still not one of the club’s strikers has scored in 18 matches this season.

“It was fantastic to see Harry Kane score again”.
Angelo Ogbonna met Payet’s corner with a fine header that crashed back off the bar, in the direction of Winston Reid.
The England global needed just 160 seconds to score both goals.
“We had good opportunities to kill the game off”.
Dimitri Payet has created an astounding 40 goal-scoring chances, which is the highest among any player in Europe’s top five leagues. One team deserved to win the game at the end and that was Tottenham, no doubt, but maybe we can play better.
The Belgian is a vital cog in an extremely fluid Spurs machine. A naturally central player, he has been moved wider to accommodate the talents of Ali, who had such a great debut season for the club last time out. There are a lot of positives before these games.
It was also Tottenham’s first win since beating Manchester City on October 2, at a time when England striker Kane was injured. It is always knowledge for the players, that they can play in different positions, different tactical systems.
After a drab opening, the game burst into life in the 21st minute as some slack Spurs defending allowed the Hammers to take the lead.
