Latest ‘Pokémon Go’ Update Provides Much-Needed Fixes
Pokemon GO is a game which has swept the world off its feet by integrating augmented reality or AR with the nostalgia of a decade old franchise. Now you can go and download officially in Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
In the new version of the game, the nearby tracker displays nearby Pokemon in front of an image of a specific Pokestop.
It’s a huge improvement over the broken radar feature.
It got so bad that thousands of users were turning their attention to third party apps like Pokevision, in a bid to help pokemon players find nearby Pokemon.
It has also fixed the frustrating bug that made it hard for trainers to catch Pokemons. Hence, you are advised to pick a name of your choice wisely.
It also seems that the new nearby tracker is incredibly accurate. These bots are apparently fully capable of playing and using all the features of the game, including travel, catching Pokemon, using PokeStops, and battling gyms.
Sightings feature renamed. Grass added. When players click on the “Nearby” drawer, they will see two sections labeled nearby and sightings.
Pokemon Go’s new tracking system has three separate functions. Pokemon fans in other countries where you know demand for the game is going to be huge, like China, Korea and India, are still awaiting the word from Niantic that Pokemon Go has launched in their area. How about you? Any changes you guys want to see in the next update? A much-requested feature which allows a player to change their nickname once has also been added to the game.
If a Pokemon is within that circle, it counts as one of the “Nearby” Pokemon.
Niantic just released a “Pokemon Go” update for both Android and iOS platforms.
With the new update, players expected the removed tracking feature to resurface as there was a lot of backlash from the gaming community regarding its removal.
But the latest update brings hope for frustrated Pokemon trainers everywhere. Keep in mind, there are likely plenty of kinks yet to be ironed out of this feature, and at the moment it’s only available to a seemingly random subset of users.
