The LAPD is calling the incident some of the most reckless driving ever seen by investigators.

The daring feat, worthy of Hollywood action movie, involved a late model Audi that wound its way down Laurel Canyon Boulevard toward Sunset Boulevard for two miles, according to CBS Los Angeles.

This just might be wishful thinking as far as all those prospective charges waiting for this Audi driver. Amazingly, the reverse-driver avoids hitting oncoming traffic and even a pedestrian along the way.

The Audi can be seen taking on sharp bends on a hill, weaving through traffic, crossing the central line and driving through junctions. Narrowly missing oncoming traffic.

“Wow, look what he’s doing!”

Still in reverse. The driver moves around other vehicles. Will this start a trend for folks to start videotaping all the drivers making illegal turns, running stop signs, passing in the wrong lane and talking on their cell phones while driving?

“It definitely was a shocker for me“, Kevin Zanazanian who filmed the video told local KCAL/KCBS, adding that he saw two people in the auto, a man behind the wheel and a woman in the passenger seat. YouTube user Kevin Zanazanian, as he was on his way to “go to a real-estate listing showing”, recorded the car’s progress down the narrow street for four minutes.

The vehicle was moving backward at unsafe speed and crossed double-yellow lines at around 4:45 p.m. last Thursday.
