LB Ahmad Brooks to miss Giants game while grieving sister’s death
San Francisco 49ers outside linebacker Ahmad Brooks will not play Sunday against the New York Giants due to the death of his 40-year-old sister, Brooks’ agent said on Thursday. Brooks’ agent, Gregory R. Williams, told CSNBayArea.com that his client intends on returning to the 49ers early next week and will be available to play October.
Krsunthia Brooks died on Wednesday. Williams said Brooks will be back for the October. 18 game against the Baltimore Ravens. “Our backups are good, too, but Ahmad to other teams is one of those veterans they come into a game strategizing against”. “Their strategy may change”.
