LB Daelin Hayes commits to Notre Dame — Twitter Chatter
Hayes made his commitment “in style”, paying homage to the Dark Knight in a Bleacher Report video similar to the one made by Iman Marshall and other top-flight recruits.
Narrowed down to three schools – Ohio State, Michigan State, and Notre Dame – Hayes receives a mysterious phone call while working out on a football field.
The 6-foot-3, 239-pound linebacker is expected to enroll early at Notre Dame after playing in next month’s U.S. Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio.
Hayes is ranked a four-star prospect and the No. 12 outside linebacker in the nation by Scout.
Never has such a highly ranked player from MI actually played so little high school football in the state.
That’s when the Buckeyes got involved, but Notre Dame was in the driver’s seat Hayes broke ties with USC.
Daelin Hayes will be a member of the Fighting Irish class of 2016.

When his senior season was cut short due to a shoulder injury at Ann Arbor Skyline, Hayes decommitted from the Trojans in the wake of the Steve Sarkisian firing.
In total, Hayes collected 23 offers from Division I programs including Alabama, Cincinnati, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Oklahoma, Oregon, Penn State, Tennessee and UCLA.
