Leah Remini: Scientology doesn’t let kids be kids
Now the “King of Queens” actress is saying the controversial religion unfairly places high demands on kids.
Leah Remini wants the world to see the truth behind the Church of Scientology-not just for her sake, but for the sake of children who are now involved in it. “Your ego becomes extremely inflated”.
“She also revealed in the new clip that the church’s mission is to “[to save] the planet”, which is a huge responsibility to put on kids.
“Given Leah Remini’s insatiable desire for attention, it comes as no surprise that for two years she has been incapable of moving on with her life”, a spokesperson for the Church of Scientology told Us at the time.
But after more than three decades as a Scientologist, Remini broke with the church in 2013 after criticizing the organization for alleged abuses and corrupt practices.
“I decided I didn’t want to raise my daughter in the church because from what I’ve experienced and what I saw, the church becomes your everything.”
In another clip, she discussed how important Tom Cruise is to the church and why she started to “lose touch with the real world”. I feel that people need to understand that this has been my whole life.
