Leaked! Windows 10 Lumia smartphones specifications
The the new Nokia Lumia 920 (L) and 820 Windows smartphones are displayed during a joint event with Microsoft on September 5, 2012 in New York City.
The official release of Microsoft’s first flagship Windows phones is still in October but it looks like fans on the Internet are already getting a generous head start with the details through a recent leak.
Microsoft is particularly looking at developing the smartphone network and the company is looking forward towards pricing them at a rate higher than ever before, but also making sure that the phones are “worth every penny”. The handset, dubbed Talkman, will reportedly be called either “Lumia 940” or “Lumia 950”, whereas the Cityman will apparently be launched as “Lumia 940 XL” or “Lumia 950 XL”.
The Lumia phones are expected to be some of the most powerful devices of all times, and would feature advanced options for security and protection. The “Cityman” as the larger variant will come in Matte White or black polycarbonate body and 5.7 inch WQHD (1440×2560) OLED display; Snapdragon 810, 64-bit Octa core paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot; 20MP PureView rear camera with triple LED flash and 5MP wide angle selfie snapper; 1mm silver ring inside the circumference of the black camera pod; and 3300 mAh battery. The device is believed to cost $600 when it comes out in the market.
The Cityman device also known as Lumia 950 XL sports a 5.7-inch display and as far as the specs are concerned, they are identical to the Lumia 950. As for its price, the handset is said to be $50 more expensive than its smaller brother.
Both smartphones will support Qi wireless charging and also an infrared scanner that will unlock the device in seconds.
A new report claims that AT&T and T-Mobile are set to be the exclusive U.S. carriers of Microsoft’s new Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL.
