LeBron James will host a red carpet ‘Trainwreck’ screening Friday in Akron
Amy Schumer is the best.
However, the Daily Mail United Kingdom remarked that the comedienne’s skyrocketing career probably takes too much of her time to actually join a reality show; aside from the Judd Apatow-helmed “Trainwreck” co-starring Bill Hader, she has her own sketch comedy series with Comedy Central titled “Inside Amy Schumer”.
Amy was not too particular about where she would have to live to be on a Real Housewives show, suggesting Newark and Cincinnati before settling on The Real Housewives Of Secaucus at the end of the audition. Sure, she said it’s because she doesn’t want to play it safe, but I think she’s setting her sights on a show that needs her more: The Bachelorette. “I’m all of those things”. I think if a guy goes through four drinks while you’re just like halfway through your one and it’s like a first date – there’s a good chance it’s a trainwreck.
On fans: “A lot of… girls will come up to me, and they’re like, ‘Oh my God, like, I’m you!’ Like, ‘I’m literally you.’ ‘No, you’re who I’m doing a parody of.'”. Bravo recently uploaded an awesome “audition video” for the comedian. “If it were one word, it would be ‘condoms?'” she says.
As mentioned in Time, Amy Schumer’s speech is described as raunchy, irreverent, lurking below the surface and skewering social commentary.
Trainwreck focuses on the idea that monogamy is not an option and hits on topics that are quite similar to that of Schumer’s usual stand-up routine and similar to the subject matter on her show on Comedy Central, Inside Amy Schumer.
In the meantime, E!
Schumer’s Trainwreck is due out July 17.
