LeBron would love to play for Pop in 2020
After capturing for a National Basketball Association title in Cleveland, LeBron James is not over in terms aiming for the bigger prize. “I believe I think the game, I’m not going to say in a similar fashion because he has more experience than me, but I think I have a high basketball IQ, too”.
James made the comments during the first episode of a new podcast for Uninterrupted, the on-line, social media-driven platform he created for athletes. The program, now in its sixth year, starts with third grade students and follows them through their educational careers to ensure that they remain on the right track.
While James doesn’t have a ideal record in the playoffs in comparison to Jordan who won six titles in six finals appearances, James believed that he can still be considered as the best ever if his career is over.
Business Insider’s US Editor-in-Chief Alyson Shontell recently sat down with LeBron James to talk about life after winning the NBA Finals. Hell, James still seems to be in his prime considering the fact that he is still only 31. I just did not play this summer. “So one day I get home from practice, and there are these T-shirts laying in my bedroom, and my wife purchased them from a store”.
“She asked me who my favorite wrestlers were, and I told her Sting, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Ultimate Warrior, The Undertaker, and Ric Flair”, said James. “If I can make a statement and make an impact while I can, I mean, why not?”
But if he wants it, he’s certainty capable of doing it and playing on that stage. James will be 35 years old then, with 17 years of National Basketball Association experience under his belt. It’s different from Michael (Jordan) retiring, coming back, retiring, coming back, and then going to the (Washington) Wizards. But in a recent interview with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols, James still has the itch of wishing he had joined Team USA in Rio and helping his Cavs teammate Kyrie Irving and Team USA. “My dream is to actually own a team”.
