Leicester City Sign Nigerian Attacker, Ahmed Musa
Nigerian global Ahmed Musa has finally signed for English Premier League champions, Leicester City, after passing a medical on Friday.
English Premier League champions, Leicester City, have bolstered their squad with the signing of an African star for a club record fee.
The striker is said to be on a 4 year deal for £16.5 million.
However, Musa revealed in May that he would be happy to join Leicester in the summer and looks set to arrive after completing his club medical on Wednesday.
The Nigerian joined CSKA in 2012 and scored 54 goals in 168 games, and has scored 11 times in 58 appearances for Nigeria since making his debut in 2010.
Yet, it wasn’t so much a straight-forward deal for Leicester as they had to fend off interest from West Ham United, Southampton and Everton, according to a recent BBC report.
Leicester City have finally announced the £18million signing of Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa from Russian side, CSKA Moscow.
Leicester City confirmed the signing of Musa on their official website and Twitter pages – mere hours after the launch of their new away kit for the 2016-17 season.
Leicester City will be hoping everything will be “all white” this season as they bid to defend their Premier League title with a new, white, alternate away strip.
