Leighton Meester and Adam Brody welcome first child

27-year-old Leighton, who married The O.C.’s Adam Brody in 2014, gave birth on September 18th, according to U.S. reports.

E! News can confirm Leighton Meester welcomed her first child with husband Adam Brody.

Details about the baby’s name and gender have not yet been released, with the couple choosing not to even acknowledge Meester’s pregnancy to the public.

Brody and Meester are in good company. Their reps have yet to respond to a request for comment.

Leighton, 29, and Adam, 35, have both opened up in the past about their desire to have a family.

Leighton Meester only revealed she was pregnant in May [Flynet].

“Most people I know are starting to get married”, she told Nylon last fall.

The under-the-radar couple secretly Wednesday back in February 2014, after quietly dating for a few years.

“My values have shifted greatly in terms of what I find important”, she revealed.

“It’s my family, my friends and having a personal life”, she said.

“I do some stuff but she definitely does the heavy lifting( figuratively)”, he said in a Reddit AMA. Brody (jokingly) said that he wants 12 kids!
