Lena Headey Gives Birth to a Baby Girl

The Game of Thrones star welcomed her second child, a daughter, she announced Friday.

No further details are known about Headey’s newborn daughter, who joins her five-year-old son Wylie from her marriage to ex-husband Peter Loughran.

In May, Headey revealed that she was expecting a girl in an essay in support of women’s rights for Plan worldwide USA.

“I am having a baby girl in six weeks”.

She first confirmed she was pregnant in February, and asked everyone to give her space so she could soak up the special time in her life.

She simply writes, “Hello peeps. Just fallen in unconditional heartbreaking divine love for the second time”, she tweeted.

“She’ll be able to wear what she wants, put on lipstick, and read books that spark debate and expand her mind”. In that post, Headey said that her daughter would be respected, loved, celebrated, and protected.

Interestingly, the award-winning star is yet to reveal the name of the baby or who the father is.

During the pregnancy, Lena was seen out and about with her Game Of Thrones co-star Pedro Pascal, 39, fuelling speculation that they are an item.
