Lenovo launches Phab Plus phablet with 6.8 inch display
With a big 6.8-inch display, Lenovo’s new phablet is blurring the lines between a smartphone and a tablet. The new PHAB Plus conquers these boundaries, merging the fun of a tablet with the portability of a smartphone in a stylish metallic uni-body casing. These features are crafted from durable yet lightweight aluminum material.
Lenovo has expanded its phablet vary with the addition of Phab Plus. You can check out more pictures of the initial hands on below, and at the source link. Corporate users will enjoy the Smart Tool, which enables a photo of a presentation slide to be taken from any angle, and then adjusted and aligned for best results. Android 5.0 Lollipop comes pre-installed with Vibe UI on top. They are the new owners of the Motorola Mobility, making it a subsidiary of Lenovo and also they own the personal computer business of IBM as well. You still can’t use it one-handed (it’s 3.8 inches wide) anyway, because you can’t actually hold it in one hand. The PHAB Plus is also slightly thinner than the PHAB and includes a unibody metal case, leaving the plus model with a slightly smaller battery (3500 vs 4250 mAh), but the PHAB Plus has double the RAM (2GB) and internal storage (64GB) of the base model. All powered by a 3500mAh battery inside. Now Lenovo is looking to get in on the action with a daring duo dubbed the Phab and Phab Plus. The dual-SIM PHAB features a 7-inch 720×1280 resolution IPS LCD display and is powered by a quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm processor (possibly the Snapdragon 410/412). It is available in three colors Gunmetal Grey, Titanium Silver and Champagne Gold.
There’s also a regular Lenovo PHAB with an even bigger 6.98-inch display, but it only has a 720p resolution which is pretty low considering the screen size. It comes in black, white, red, and blue, and has a colorful, jaunty plastic casing. In recent years, they have introduced several smartphones under the Lenovo brand in countries with growing mobile market like India, China, Pakistan and several others.
