Lenovo Launches Their Moto M Smartphone In India
The new smartphone features a 5.5-inch display, an octa-core processor, 4GB RAM, 16MP rear and 8MP front cameras, 3,050mAh battery.
The Moto M, which happens to be the first Moto phone with an all-metal body, will be exclusively available on Flipkart from December 14 (starting at 11:59 PM). In fact, the Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 were reported to already have the firmware update in October.
As AndroidPolice reports, Motorola updated the Indian support page of the Moto G4 with full details about Android 7.0 Nougat a few months ago, but the actual OTA update never arrived until today. The Moto M comfortably sits between the Moto G4 Plus and the Moto Z Play and clearly seems like a worthy replacement for the Moto X Play keeping its pricing and specifications in mind.
Motorola went MediaTek with the Moto M, so you’ll get a speedy 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio P15 under the hood.
Internal storage: Moto M comes in two variants based on internal storage, 32GB and 64GB, which is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.
It seems that Motorola is working on a Moto handset which is expected to run on Android Nougat out of the box. The new Motorola M contains a 16 MP camera at the back with f.2.0 aperture, PDAF support and dual tone flash. Many commented that the design and features were very similar to those of their predecessors – the Moto G4 and G4 Plus. The Handset will be available in two RAM and Storage options. The device comes with an all new metal design and a fingerprint scanner on the back of the device.
The Moto M ships with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Battery The phone comes with a decent set of battery capacity.
In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Moto M provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C port, NFC in addition to a traditional headphone port. The Moto G and Moto E lines have been a success for the company, and have succeeded in winning over a lot of buyers in the sub-Rs 15,000 price bracket.
