Leolah Brown Removed From Bobbi Kristina’s Funeral, Family Says ‘She’s insane
According to the Associated Press, Leolah Brown told reporters outside the church that she was angry over some of the things Houston said inside.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Houston was approaching the podium to speak during the memorial service when Leolah yelled, “How dare you?” Similarly, she was rushed to a nearby hospital and recovered shortly after the incident.
Bobbi Kristina, Brown’s 22-year-old daughter with singer and ex-wife Whitney Houston, passed away on July 26 after six months in a coma.
Crowds of people mobilized outside the church to catch a glimpse of the family and the celebrities in attendance. “Until then, can we just pray for Krissi, and the Houston and Brown families?”
An initial post-mortem examination this week found Brown suffered no significant injuries and no obvious underlying cause for her death.
In June, a civil lawsuit was filed against Gordon in the Superior Court of Fulton County, Georgia, alleging that he accessed Brown’s bank accounts and stole more than $11,000. Brown had inherited her mother’s fortune.
Her father Bobby was left traumatized and distraught and said in a statement after her death released by his lawyer: ‘Krissy was and is an angel. Brown and Etheredge have been married since 2012. Bobbi Kristina was her only child. The mourners reportedly arrived in a motorcade of limousines, led by police motorcycles.
She was escorted out of the church by close family friend movie mogul Tyler Perry. The Repast was hosted by aunt Pat Houston.
When asked about the funeral service, she said, “It went wonderful, until Pat started speaking, and I didn’t like that”.
Bobbi died last month after a long battle in hospital after she was found unresponsive in the bath at her home in Atlanta. She’s with her mother now. “She’s just being the phony person that she is”, she told the reporters.
Tributes were paid to Whitney Houson at the funeral of her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, Saturday as loved ones gathered for an intimate ceremony in Atlanta, Georgia, that was marred by a family bust-up.
Bobby Brown’s sister continued, “PLEASE DO NOT SEND ONE RED CENT!” Leolah had in recent days begun to rant on Facebook about her.
