The Bills continue to wait and see when LeSean McCoy will be over his hamstring injury, however, they have a more than capable running back waiting in the fold.
“Well, we will consider doing anything that is in the best interest of our football team and our players”, Head Coach Rex Ryan said. In Buffalo, McCoy has been battling a hamstring injury since training camp and hasn’t done much.
The Bills next five games are all very winnable and only one of the teams, the Bengals, now has a winning record and they come to Buffalo.
The Bills rolled to an easy win over a listless Dolphins team on Sunday afternoon thanks to a strong performance by their defense and another good game for starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor. “I think he has a good feel for what we are trying to do right now”.
QB Ryan Tannehill completed only 11 of his 23 pass attempts, while also throwing three interceptions. “I know it’s a long season, we’ve got a great group of guys who can go out there and win”, he said.
The Giants are averaging just 3.6 yards per carry in the first three games, with 280 yards on 76 carries. Percy Harvin and Charles Clay have combined for 336 receiving yards and three touchdowns while Robert Woods has nine receptions.
Karlos Williams stepped in for McCoy and gain 110 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries against Miami. The Giants will play the Buffalo Bills in their home building on Sunday.
McCoy has played every game so far this season, but he’s not playing the way he wants.
When asked if the matter was a distraction for him, Grimes said no.
“We’re fortunate”, he said. Aaron Williams and Marquise Goodwin are questionable while LeSean McCoy is doubtful. “I just have to take care of it”. He played in the first two regular-season games and seemed OK, even gaining 89 yards against the Patriots in Week 2.
