LeT terrorist Bahadur Ali was guided by Pakistan forces: NIA
He has confessed to have established terror camps in Pakistan.
In response to a media question regarding summoning of Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India to protest cross-LOC infiltration, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said, “We strongly reject Indian claim of any cross-LOC infiltration”.
Mr Singh said NIA has collected all kinds of evidence and future investigation is continuing in regards with Bahadur Ali’s disclosure.
“They were made to write their own codes for communicating with the Alpha-3 command centre”.
Based on his inputs, security forces could manage to neutralise four militants in North Kashmir.
When Ali was arrested, he carried a wireless set, a Global Positioning System device, Unicode sheets for identification of locations, a compass, maps and one matrix sheet of codes for communication with his handlers in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, according to the NIA.
In a surprise move, the NIA Wednesday released a video of captured LeT operative Bahadur Ali claiming that Pakistani security agencies and army were involved in setting up terrorists to launch attacks on Indian soil.
Singh said the arrested Lashkar terrorist had been promised cover fire by Pakistani forces when he attempted to infiltrate into northern Kashmir.
“Bahadur Ali lays bare the Lashkar conspiracy to throw grenades amidst protesters in Kashmir”, NIA DG Sharad Kumar told Hindustan Times. Once the terrorists are inside Indian territory, Alpha-3 guides, directs and controls their operations. Whenever required, Alpha-3 arranges tactical and material support through previously identified contacts.
The video shows 21-year-old Bahadur Ali, a resident of Raiwind in Lahore, spilling beans about LeT’s role in the disturbances. The trainees were from different countries as well as Afghanistan. This was led by LeT founder Hafiz Sayeed.
Pakistani High Commissioner to India warned the Foreign Secretary by stating that the violation of human rights in Kashmir need to be curbed.
In another important revelation the Lashkar militant disclosed that Pak Army officers would regularly visit their camps in civil clothes and were addressed as Major Saheb or Captain Saheb.
