LG G4 Receiving Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update at T
HTC’s commitment to faster updates has seen an improvement since the launch of the HTC One A9 last Fall, and a series of older flagships including the HTC One M8 and HTC One M9 in some regions have started to see the latest version of the Android software come to them as a result.
However, the update will be rolled out in phases.
To check for the Android 6.0 update on your Sprint One M9, you can go into Settings System updates HTC software updates CHECK NOW. Neither of the two offered any information as to when exactly Android 6.0 Marshmallow might arrive on the LG G4, but we suspect it won’t be long until the upgrade gets released. As for the processor, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 that houses a quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 and a quad-core 2.0 GHz Cortex-A57, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory, expandable up to 200GB via microSD card. HTC One M9 sports a 4-ultrapixel front shooter for selfies and a 20-megapixel primary camera on the back. In addition, sensors on the HTC One M9 include accelerometer, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor and gyroscope. But we still would be delighted to hear about an official LG G2 Android 6.0 Marshmallow update roll-out.
Marshmallow is a pretty important update, so you have a lot of reasons to want it installed on your phone.
While it may not bring any major UI changes or anything like that, Android 6.0 is still a notable update.
The new software version number is H81120i, and you should get the OTA eventually if you’re on H81120n, H81120h, or H81120d.
