LG G5 prospect (LG-H830) in user agent profile spot
The LG G5 is expected to feature a first-of-its-kind modular all-metal design that will include a “drawer method”.
The new LG G5 will be made official at Mobile World Congress next month, LG are holding a press event the day before MWC 2016 kicks off on the 21st of February. No confirmation from LG about the accuracy of information but we’re sure there is indeed an LG G5. We also shared some LG G5 design renders that were claimed to be based on an eyewitness testimony of the smartphone.
To top it off, the volume buttons have been moved to the side of the device. The power button stays on the rear, while also coming equipped with a fingerprint scanner. If this event is for the unveiling of the LG G5 as anticipated, we will finally have the confirmed specs, expected release date, and hopefully the price for this device. The LG G5 will be announced on February 21 but its HTTP User Agent Profile has already leaked, revealing some of the smartphone’s key specs and model number.
Of course at this stage nothing has been officially confirmed about the LG G5, but a new indicator has now surfaced.
The LG G5 will use a 5.3-inch quad-HD display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440, in addition to a secondary ticker display like the one found on the LG V10. While LG devices don’t usually pique the interest of the mass media to the extent of Samsung and Apple’s launches, the Korean company seems like it has a pretty impressive device on its hands.
The LG G5 is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, the latest chipset from Qualcomm, which is paired with 3 GB of RAM.
The same spot also showed that the phone in question is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow, just as we’d expect.
