LG Leaks New WebOS 3.0 Details Before CES
LG’s new range of smart TVs will be unveiled at CES 2016 in Las Vegas, along with webOS 3.0. Along with a wide array of sparlking new TVs at the show, LG will debut the latest version of its webOS smart TV platform. webOS 3.0. Magic Zoom enables users to magnify objects and letters without any degradation in picture quality. The second is Magic Mobile Connection, a feature that makes it easy to connect a mobile phone to an LG Smart TV through LG’s TV Plus app. And the third is Magic Remote, which LG upgraded to make controlling set-top boxes easier with the addition of set-top box “power” and “menu” buttons, along with DVR functions. It offers a unified channel list that combines OTT content with broadcast TV channels, letting you surf both in the same place. The LG webOS 3.0 is built with LG’s acclaimed Smart TV platform. The feature will offer free digital content from the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Politics, and Times.

In terms of functionality, LG was also quick to highlight its “Magic” features. When WebOS is updated to version 3.0, LG will be introducing three new features to the platform, which LG refers to as “magic smart” features. A new multi-view feature lets you watch two different sources simultaneously – like two different TV channels, or one channel and a Blu-ray movie. You will, for instance, be able to add up to 10 favorite channels, so you can easily check what they’re playing without leaving the show you’re watching. The LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company is a global leader in television, audio video systems, monitors, personal computers, digital signage and commercial displays.
