LG Max launched in India
LG has provided a Spin Hairline pattern along with metallic edge on the LG Max, and its rear side has a grooved circular pattern, similar to the recently announced LG Bello II. The L Bello was a solid entry-level smartphone, but LG decided that it was a time for an upgrade. The company added that the smartphone would be called LG Prime II in Brazil and Chile. That being said, LG has just announced this smartphone in India as well, but under a different name, read on.
Further, this device comes with 8GB of internal memory with an expansion option via microSD card slot.
LG Max is priced at Rs 10,990 in India. An 8MP camera is on the back, and a 5MP selfie-centric snapper is found on the front of the phone. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core processor along with 1GB RAM under the hood. The handset is 3G only as LG believes the LTE coverage in India isn’t sufficient at this point (which isn’t exactly true). The camera is also equipped the features like Gesture Shot and Selfie Flash, that is carried over from LG’s G series phones.
Gesture Shot enables users to take selfies without pressing any buttons by simply opening and closing the palm in front of the camera, making it flawless for selfie sticks.
The LG Max will be available in three colours – White, Titan, and Gold. “This smartphone offers great balance of form, function and price and we expect it to be even more successful than its predecessor”, said Amit Gujral, Marketing Head at LG Mobiles India.
