LG not paying attention to law and order: Kejriwal
He said the Chief Minister could not talk to the wife of Yadav as she is still in a state of shock over her husband’s death.
Kejriwal then sought information about the number of consultants hired by the Modi government in the last two years.
In another tweet, Kejriwal said that he hoped that the LG and BJP would stop “blocking” the AAP government’s public interest schemes.
Kejriwal’s letter to Rajnath Singh was in reaction to the May 24 communication by the Home Ministry to the Delhi government asking for details of all officers on deputation with the AAP government.
Instead, Mr Kejriwal asked Mr Singh for information relating to appointment of consultants by the NDA government in the last two years. Neither the Prime Minister nor the Home Minister has time to look after Delhi.
He also said files of any of the case related to 1984 massacre was not with the Delhi government but all records and file were with the central government. “We are performing well in the departments which are with Delhi government”, he said.
“I request you to tell me what steps have been taken by the central government and the Lt. Governor to contain the situation”, he added.
Earlier in the day, AAP leader Sanjay Singh accused Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung of “spying for the PMO” and alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wanted to destabilize the Delhi government.
The Kejriwal-led government has been in a running battle with the Centre over control of police and the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB).
The lieutenant-governor’s secretariat on February 26 had sought a clarification from the Delhi government on its dedicated bus-lane proposal, and the Kejriwal government had sent back the plan to the L-G’s office after making minor changes in it.
