LG Unveils New 21:9 UltraWide & 4K Ultra HD Monitors
LG will be showing off four high-end PC monitors at the show, the first two of which seem particularly well-suited to gamers.
LG’s monitor exhibition at CES will feature a number of dream setups built around LG’s impressive monitor lineup. “LG strives for continuous innovation to exceed customers’ expectations by creating products that provide breathtaking aesthetics and unparalleled user experience”. There will also be two 4K monitors coming, measuring in at 27-inches and an IPS display.
LG will also showcase a 27-inch QHD display monitor which will come with USB Type-C port, and features the company’s “proprietary color-enhancing IPS display technology” to offer sharp display while performing a variety of tasks, whether its gaming or any other work. The UC88 series, which includes curved 29- and 34-inch models, also supports FreeSync, although these monitors are 21:9 with a resolution of 3440 x 1440. Representing the next generation of computer connectivity, the monitor allows users to charge a laptop as fast as with a dedicated power cord and simultaneously transfer data at USB 3.0 speeds.
CES 2016 is just around the corner, beginning in early January, and LG has started teasing some of the products the company will be showcasing during the main press event in January.
Ik-hwan Jang is head of the monitor and PC division at LG Electronics.
LG will also have beastly flat displays in store at CES 2016.
We will be able to see more at CES, which takes place from the 6th to the 9th of January next year. For more information, please visit www.LG.com.
Next up is the LG Gram 15, which comes with a 15.6-inch display but it’s “barely larger than a conventional 14-inch laptop”.
Finally on the list, we have a new laptop- it’s a thin and light, which LG claims is actually the lightest 15-inch laptop in the world.
