LG V10 Smartphone Launch Expected at Company’s October 1 Event
If you are a avid follower of technology, this V10 will remind you of the Samsung Continuum which was launched 5 year back with a secondary display just below the screen.
Shortly after Microsoft announced it has an October event set, LG has begun inviting the press to its own event in New York during the same month. What’s interesting about the LG event though, is that there are no clear indications on what the company will unveil. Perhaps the most interested feature alleged to be part of the device – at least according to serial industry leaker Evan Blass – will be an auxiliary “ticker” display above the primary screen. The smartphone will be powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 from Qualcomm coupled with 3GB of RAM.
This shouldn’t be confused with a Nexus device LG is now making for Google – that should be revealed on 29 September, if internet gossip is accurate.
Leaked images of the upcoming phone show how the front-facing camera and light/proximity sensors have been moved to the left, making room for the suggested new display.
Besides, the report also confirms some of the earlier leaked/speculated specs including fingerprint scanner (circular in design), a protruding camera and dual-LED flash.
