LGBTQ activists stage dance protest outside Mike Pence’s DC home
Vice President-elect Mike Pence, an alleged human being who once said that same-sex couples would initiate “societal collapse” in America, will receive a fitting protest at his own home ahead of the inauguration of a reality TV personality.
Gay rights activists welcomed one of their fiercest foes, the staunchly conservative Vice President-elect Mike Pence, to his new home with a block party – one complete with blaring Beyoncé songs and a sea of rainbow flags. Trump, however, – on different occasions – has said that he both supports and opposes gay rights. Unlike with the president, there is no set tradition for who administers the vice president’s oath.
At the moment Trump was sworn in, protestors at one of the checkpoints on the Mall let loose with boos, others screamed, the clouds opened and rain sent ceremony attendees grabbing for their plastic ponchos. He also noted that all Cabinet officials have been named by Trump to their positions.
