Lindsay Lohan Gets Trapped In An Elevator During London Fashion Week!
The 29-year-old filed the suit in 2014 after a guest on host Sean Hannity’s show called Lindsay’s mother Dina an enabler and suggested that the pair took cocaine together.
The lawsuit against Fox News was “thrown out by a New York judge” September 18, according to Gossip Cop. The actor Hoffman had died of an overdose of drugs two days earlier.
In a statement, the “Mean Girls” actress” attorney Mark Jay Heller said, “Fields falsely, inappropriately, and shockingly stated, unequivocally and as a “matter of fact’ that Lohan’s mother is doing cocaine with her”. But the judge didn’t see it that way at all on Friday.
However, the judge quickly dismissed the case, simply stating that “truth is a defense”.
Insiders revealed that the judge in the case shut the “Parent Trao” star by saying,
“Truth is a defense.”
Not to mention, a worrying recording exists of Lindsay on the phone to her dad Micheal Lohan where she says “mum’s on cocaine” as they travel in the back of a limo together.
Lohan has previously sued Pitbull for defamation, claiming the rapper used slanderous lyrics about her in his song “Give Me Everything”.
“The remark about which Lindsay and Dina Lohan complain was made on live television by a guest almost a year ago”.
Fox News formally apologized for the “oversight” in airing the talk show segment back in February, calling Fields’ comment a “claim [they] can not verify”, but told Us Weekly that they would “defend this case to the fullest”.
