Lindsey Graham to endorse Jeb Bush
Graham added that Bush understands better than anyone else that “this is a religious war and they only way to win this war is to partner with people in the faith to destroy a common enemy”. Rubio’s campaign has been based largely on his foreign policy “strength” and expertise, and he occupies the same insanely hawkish space as Graham.
Bush, Graham said, is “Who I want to be commander in chief for that 1 percent fighting force”.
“Lindsey Graham is a patriot, he loves his country”, Bush said in North Charleston.

Bush nabbed endorsements from some key Graham backers after the senator quit the race, but given Bush’s dire position in the polls, it was unclear whether Graham himself would publicly offer his support, particularly with a more viable candidate like Sen. “But I wasn’t ready to be president at 44”, Graham said, stressing the important of experience.
Graham ended his White House bid December 21. Marco Rubio for the Republican presidential nomination, while Haley and Scott have yet to announce a favorite.
That was clearly a reference to Donald Trump. Carson noted his lack of questions by jumping in after a Jeb Bush speech, saying he had the right to speak because Bush had cited “everybody” on stage.
“His endorsement is very meaningful and along with it come a lot of friends and supporters of his”, Bush said in an appearance on FOX News, which first broke the story of the nod. “I am honored to have his support”.
Graham said Trump’s proposed ban on Muslims entering the United States would complicate efforts to gain support from governments in the Middle East. At the debate, Bush had said Trump’s idea was flawed and that a Muslim alliance was vital.
