Lineup Announced For Firefly 2016

“We wanted the 2016 lineup to reach a wide audience while resonating with our core Firefly community”, says Talent and Experience Director at Firefly Music Festival Christiane Pheil.

Kings of Leon is returning to the Woodlands at Dover as a Firefly Music Festival headliner after being rained out in 2015.

Last year, Paul McCartney, the Killers and Kings of Leon headlined the festival. Three day tickets go on-sale Thursday, November 19 th at 10 AM CST and are $249.

Besides Florence and the Machine, another leading British singer, Ellie Goulding, will play both the Hangout and Firefly festivals.

The festivals announced lineups months before previous years amid a proliferation in the United States of music festivals, which have become the key money-makers for the music industry but have put pressure on promoters to book prominent acts. Unique food offerings include fresh local seafood prepared by renowned regional chefs.

The Hangout Music Festival is located in Gulf Shores, Alabama – just a few miles from the Florida border. At the Disco, The Chainsmokers and many others have been slated to perform at the festival, which will be held from 20-22 May 2016.
