Lionel Messi looks set to disappoint those hoping to see him grace the Premier League after declaring he wants to end his career with Barcelona as he picked up his fifth Ballon d’Or award on Monday.

The Puskas Award for most lovely goal was won by Wendell Lira for Goianesia against Atletico-GO in a Brazilian league game. The striker plays for Vila Nova in the third tier in Brazil but at the time of the goal was playing for Goianesia.
