Lisa Marie Presley files for divorce in Los Angeles

Lisa Marie Presley has filed for divorce from Michael Lockwood after ten years of marriage.

TMZ is reporting that Elvis Presley’s daughter and Michael Lockwood have split and it looks like the split could get nasty.

Although she had just filed for divorce this week, reports say the couple has been separated since June 13.

Presley, 48, and Lockwood, 55, were married in January 2006 and have 7-year-old twin daughters together.

This will be the singer and actress’ fourth divorce. The filing cites irreconcilable differences. She’s fine giving up visitation to her soon-to-be-ex but only if it is monitored, according to the website.

A TMZ source made it emphatically clear that Lisa does not want anything from her ex saying, ‘She doesn’t want any of his money’. The duo stayed friends, and just twenty days later she married Michael Jackson.

She was previously married to the late pop star Michael Jackson, actor Nicolas Cage and musician Danny Keough, who is the father of her daughter Danielle, 27, and son Benjamin, 23.

The marriage was over in 20 months.

In 2014, Presley said her relationship with Lockwood was “outstanding”. She said the reason her union with Michael – her guitarist, music producer and director – worked was because “he takes care of everything”. He picks the musicians.
