List of GOP lawmakers found in Virginia shooter’s pocket

The paper then went on to describe in detail Hodgkinson’s life as a foster parent and detailed the “much darker moments” of his life like one instance of domestic abuse and the decision of one foster child to commit suicide.

The shooter was identified as James T. Hodgkinson, a 66-year-old home inspector from IL who had several minor run-ins with the law in recent years and belonged to a Facebook group called “Terminate the Republican Party”.

A key US Republican politician and multiple congressional aides were shot by a gunman at a GOP baseball practice match in Virginia state on Wednesday.

On Saturday, the person said investigators weren’t sure of the significance of the names and don’t know if it was a list of people he was targeting.

Suspected gunman James Hodgkinson was a former volunteer for the Sanders presidential campaign, the newspaper noted.

In March he endorsed a petition from left-leaning activist group Change.Org branding Trump a “traitor” who “has destroyed our democracy”.

Brooks’ office told WAFF 48 News they could not comment, citing the ongoing investigation. Hodgkinson fired the gun as the man retreated, although police said it wasn’t clear if it was aimed at him.

O’Connor said there’s nothing to suggest that Bost was a target.

“We started giving him the liquids, I put pressure on his wound in his hip”, Brooks said. “There’s no way of knowing what his motivation was”.

Hodgkinson, who’s from a suburb of St. Louis, died after he was shot and taken into custody.

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Washington, Washington Literacy Center, Washington Nationals Dream Foundation and, after Wednesday’s shooting, Capitol Police Memorial Fund. He had access to the facility through Wednesday and arrived less than two hours before the shooting, the YMCA said.

Saclise’s doctor, Jack Sava, said Scalise will need further operations but he is expected to be able to walk and run again.

Agents continue to look into the shooter’s activities and social media presence in the months leading up to the attack.

A trace of the firearms determined they were legally purchased by Hodgkinson.

Representative Steve Scalise, two political staffers and two Capitol Police officers sustained gunshot wounds from the rampage.

President Donald Trump called Griner and another officer who responded to the shooting, officer David Bailey, heroes. Lobbyist Matt Mika was upgraded Thursday afternoon from critical to serious, according to a statement from George Washington University Hospital where he had been taken.
