Listen to the Soundtrack of President Obama’s Summer

But the weird thing is, this campaign to get the President to listen to “Drag Me Down” has been going on since long before his playlists were announced.
The commander-in-chief seemed to stick to music made popular in the 1950’s and ’60s, with songs like Bob Dylan’s “The Tombstone Blues“, Stevie Wonder’s “Another Star” and “Rock Steady”, by Aretha Franklin. “He grabbed a pen and paper and drafted up not one, but two separate summer playlists”, Deputy Director of Digital Strategy Kori Schulman said on a White House blog.
Obama may have enjoyed one of his summer reads on Thursday when, according to the White House, he spent the day at a private beach with family and friends.
Obama took to Twitter ahead of his summer vacation to Martha’s Vineyard to give his followers an insight into the song’s he’ll be relaxing to. We know that because he included those diversely appealing artists on his summer playlists posted on Spotify Friday.
