Little Fairy Is Here! Rachel Bilson And Hayden Christensen Gave Birth To Baby Girl!
Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen’s relationship in past was like a roller-coaster ride! There were lots of ups and downs! They met on the sets of movie Jumper in the year 2008.
In the same year, in the month of December they got engaged. But soon in August 2010 they called off the engagement. Just after three months they united back! In last May, Rachel had expressed her desire to be mother by saying that kids are always in her mind. That is how she sees herself in future. In the beginning of this year Rachel shared with ‘Health’ magazine about how she feels about having kids as she said, “I’ve always wanted to be a mom. I have always wanted kids. I can just see this little toddler waddling around the house.” Now it is time for the good news!
The couple welcomed their first baby-girl on 29th October! The reports were first disclosed by E! news. In the official statement the couple said, “Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson welcome their daughter Briar Rose, born on October 29, 2014. The mother and the baby are healthy and doing well. The couple wants to keep their privacy intact after the baby too! The name comes from the fairy tales as ‘Briar Rose’ name belongs to Disney theme!
As the pregnancy news broke Jaime King who is Rachel’s fellow mom has lots of praises for her as she said, “It’s a really celebratory time. I’m really thrilled and happy that she’s going to be on this next journey of her life. I know she’s going to be the best mother.”
There was a huge baby shower function 0n 31st August, for which Rachel was ‘the guest of honor’. It was indeed a low key affair where family members, ex- classmates namely King as well as Natalie Portman were present. The guests surprised the couple by gifting mom-to-be with a ‘birth beads’ as a necklace rather than separate gifts! According to sources she was supposed to wear as she goes in labor.
